Welcome to Arkansas Cooks!
I am so glad you're here! Inside you'll find information about episodes of Arkansas Cooks and great recipes from listeners, my family and even some of the cooks featured on Arkansas Cooks over the years on FM 89 KUAR. We also plan to add an archive of Arkansas Cooks episodes in the near future, so stay tuned!
Speaking of recipes, I invite you to find a recipe, try it out for your family and friends, and then come back and rate it to let me and everyone else know what you thought of the recipe. You can even add a comment about the recipe if you have more to say than stars can show! Have a recipe you'd like to share with other Arkansas Cooks fans? Click Submit a Recipe up at the top to send us your favorite recipe.
I also want to make sure you know about the Twedt Family Cookbook! It's a collection of favorite family recipes my family has gathered and handed down through the generations, and when we put them all together, we knew we had a special cookbook that we had to make available to you. You can buy the Twedt Family Cookbook right here on the Arkansas Cooks website. Pay securely, and we'll ship it to you ASAP!

Outstanding in the field is really a bus that tours around the country setting up great dinners in fields and farms that then supply the food for amazing dinners! Lee Richardson from the Captial Hotel along with his team served up amazing food for central Arkansas on the Scott Heritage Farm in Scott AR. Home to Jody Hardin and Barbra Armstrong. My mother Bev Twedt, and Ihad an unforgettable time! There was also a dinner the next day at Whitton Farms in Tyronza, AR. These were the only two Arkansas stops.Go to outstandinginthefield.com to find out more!
