So many restaurants, so little time. Little Rock has so many great restaurants and you would need a year to eat at each one and never have to go to the same place twice. I know people get stuck in a rut and always go to the same place over and over. People love consistency! I love it too, but I am all about finding a great new place. What I really want to promote is eating and buying local stuff! That is why I love the new places coming in that support our local folks. The three examples I have are all new places here in Little Rock and I want them to survive! Maddie’s Place on Rebseman Park Road, run by Brian Deloney, is a great place for po’boys, super salads, and my new favorite Parmasan Bisque Soup! Brian is a hometown boy made good by studing with the greats, Culinary Institute of American and then Emeril Lagasse’s restaurants,plus many more. Also Anthony at Patio Pizza and Beer Garden is putting out great pizza, salads, desserts and of course beer. Patio Pizza is located on Fairpark Bolavard and it is perfect for the UALR gang but they have done such a great job with the space, it should be a Little Rock staple in the restaurant rounds. Then there is my new favorite, The Station Grocery and Deli. Holly Ingabo and Casey Peirce are really stepping out to make a go a great local grocery that features the best there is to offer in local foods. I really want this to succeed because it give this great neighbor hood the store it needs.  So buy local! That means from local people at local stores that serve up the food grown around here.
