Arkansas Cooks comes to a close at KUAR – January 10th

Since October 5th of 2002 Arkansas Cooks has gone over the airwaves of KUAR every Saturday at noon. On January 10th 2015, I will host the last Arkansas Cooks show on KUAR. Over the past 12+ years I have had the privilege of talking to hundreds of Arkansas chefs, cooks, and food fanatics and then get to share it with a savvy bunch of radio listeners who have taught me even more. I cannot tell you how much I have learned and how much amazing food I have enjoyed, not to mention how much fun I have had.  I have six more shows left and I promise they will be amazing.

So thanks to the hundreds of great chefs and restaurateurs who opened up their kitchens, dining rooms, and their hearts to me so I could in turn share them with you.  Thanks to all the support I received from KUAR.  I want to thank my family and friends, especially, my mom Bev Twedt, my daughter Brennan Taylor, my producer Travis Hill (he makes me sound so good), and my wonderful and supportive husband Paul Cantrell.  This has been a labor of love and great time in my life. I look forward to what comes next for Arkansas Cooks and I will keep you posted on this website and my Arkansas Cooks Facebook page.

So remember all you Arkansas Cooks, life is too short to eat bad food, so only eat good food and eat it with people you love, it will taste so much better!
